Terms of Use

By creating an account or using Kinbot, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Kinbot automatically saves files sent via WhatsApp to your Google Drive and, for teams, records the conversations of WhatsApp groups where the team's bot number is present, with history, search, statistics and an API. Available features depend on your team's plan. The service is provided "as is" and may be modified or discontinued with reasonable prior notice.

2. Eligibility

To use Kinbot you must be at least 18 years old, hold an active WhatsApp number, have a Google account, and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you meet all of these requirements.

3. Account registration and security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. If you suspect unauthorised use, end your sessions in Settings › Security and notify us immediately at suporte@kinbot.com.br.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Kinbot to:

  • Send or record illegal, defamatory, or third-party rights-infringing content.
  • Distribute malware, spam, or copyright-protected material without a valid licence.
  • Attempt to access other users' or teams' data, or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Record group conversations without a legal basis or without informing participants.
  • Any purpose that violates WhatsApp's Terms of Service.

Violations may result in immediate suspension of the account or team without refund.

5. Plans and payments

The current plans, features and limits are those shown on the pricing page and in the dashboard; features apply to all team members according to the team's plan. The Free Plan is free, with the limitations shown on the pricing page. Paid plans, when purchased, are billed at the frequency shown at checkout; plans may also be granted by Kinbot. You may cancel at any time; billing stops at the next billing cycle, with no pro-rata refund for the current period.

6. Team bot number and groups

The team's own number is connected to Kinbot as a WhatsApp linked device (WhatsApp Web), an unofficial connection: WhatsApp may block or ban the number at any time. The team must use a dedicated SIM and is responsible for it and for the groups it adds the number to, including informing participants. If the number is blocked, the team can connect another one; the recorded history is kept.

7. Team API

When available on the plan, the team owner or an admin can create API keys. Keys grant access to the team's data according to the chosen permissions, must be kept secret and are subject to usage limits. The team is responsible for the integrations it authorises. We may revoke keys used abusively or insecurely.

8. Your files and intellectual property

Your files and conversations remain yours. Kinbot does not claim any ownership over the content you submit. By using the service, you grant us a limited, revocable licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the contracted service.

On plans with AI organisation enabled, this processing may include temporarily sending file content and metadata to AI providers for classification, organisation and naming. The Free Plan does not use AI for organisation.

The Kinbot brand and source code are the exclusive property of Kinbot and may not be reproduced or used without express written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

Kinbot is not liable for:

  • File loss resulting from failures in Google Drive or Google's infrastructure.
  • Unavailability of WhatsApp, or numbers blocked/banned by WhatsApp.
  • Use of data by integrations the team authorised through the team API.
  • Indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss arising from improper use of the service.

10. Termination

You may request closure of your account at any time at suporte@kinbot.com.br; the team owner can delete the team on the Team page of the dashboard. We may suspend accounts or teams that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, to the exclusion of any other jurisdiction.
